We’re headed to the Overland Expo April 1-3 just south of Tuscon in Amado, Arizona. The Expo will have countless opportunities to get you excited about exploring the world on your own. They’ve got classes, workshops, exhibitors (we will be there with our smiles and bottles at the ready!) food and entertainment.
What is an overlander, you say? The Overland Journal describes overlanding as “vehicle-supported, self-reliant adventure travel, typically exploring remote locations and interacting with other cultures.” An overlander drools over gear like winches and roof-top tents, loves nothing more than a killer one-pan recipe and, once they visit with us at the expo, Hydro Flask bottles.
Some overlanders, especially our British friends, head out on trans-Africa trips for months or years at a time while others just like to take their summer camping trips to a more adventurous level.
