Great Tips for Recycling Your Hydro Flask Filtration System

The Hydro Flask Filtration system is coming soon!  Here are a couple of tips on when and how to recycle your filter.

Our advanced micro-filters from Revolve Water will filter at least 100 gallons of water before they need to be replaced.  How will you know when you’ve reached that point without doing all the math?  As the filter nears the end of its life it will let less and less water through.  When the flow through the straw begins to lag you’ll know it’s time to recycle your filter.

Here are some instructions from our technology partners at Revolve Water on how to recycle your Hydro Flask filters.

Step 1: Dry out your filter. Shake out excess water and leave to dry over 2-3 days.

Step 2: Pack up your filter. Include a slip of paper with your name, address, phone number, and email for a shipping discount on your next replacement filter order. If possible, we encourage you to send multiple filters at a time.

Step 3: Mail your filter. Please mail filters via a ground shipping service to Revolve™ Recycling Station, 32693 Calle Perfecto, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675.

In order to keep our water filters out of landfills, Revolve™ has started a Filter Recycling Program where we process and recycle our water filters into reusable resources.

Don’t worry shipping your filters via ground mail is still more beneficial and will keep your filter out of the landfills.

Thank you for you effort!
