It’s Not Too Late to Enter the National Parks Photo Contest!

Calling all photographers!  It’s not too late to enter the National Park Photo Contest for a chance for your photo to appear on the America the Beautiful – National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass.  This is a great way to get out and experience the wonder and beauty of our country’s amazing National Parks.  Be sure to take your Hydro Flask with you on your photo adventure as you capture the scenic glory of our National Parks.  With our bottles keeping liquids cold for up to 24 hours or warm for up to 12 hours, it doesn’t matter whether you are in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii or Denali National Park in Alaska you can stay hydrated all day long as you snap your photos.

The National Park Service is looking for photos that best capture the scenic, natural, and historical wonders in America’s Federal Recreation Lands for its annual Share the Experience Photo Contest.

The grand prize winner’s photo will appear on a 2012 National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass.

The photo taken by the grand prize winner will appear on a 2012 America the Beautiful – National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass. He or she will receive a prize package that includes a trip for four to a federal recreation area, photography equipment, and a pass to the national parks and other federal lands for 2012.

Second-, third-, and fourth-place winners, and 10 Honorable Mention winners will also receive prizes.

All photographs must be taken in one of the Federal Recreation Lands between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010.

The contest runs through December 31, 2010. Amateur photographers can participate by uploading up to three photos on www.sharetheexperience.org or through Facebook, Flickr, or Shutterfly to the contest website.
