What you can do to minimize your chemical exposure

Short of running off to some deserted island or hiding in a cabin in the woods, there is no getting away from products that contain hormone-mimicking chemicals known as endocrine disruptor’s. Industry groups and chemical-makers say the levels of chemicals in products are safe, and they point to numerous studies to support their view.

If, however, you believe the studies that raise serious questions about the chemicals, there are some relatively simple things you can do to minimize your exposure to bisphenol A and other endocrine disruptor’s in your home. Many scientists say you can start by focusing on things that you eat or put in your mouth that come in contact with the chemical. Other suggestions include:
